Canada supports Ukrainians

True support is one that does not end on paper. Canada has not only issued visas and work permits to thousands of Ukrainians under the new program but continues to help them at all stages of travel and adaptation.

The first free charter flight has already brought our compatriots to Canada, two more are in line.

All Ukrainians who come through CUAET will be able to receive a one-time financial assistance from the Canada-Ukraine Transitional Assistance Initiative (CUTAI): $ 3,000 CAD for an adult and $ 1,500 for a child.

Those who have not yet managed to find a place to stay will be able to stay in a hotel for free for up to 14 days.

And all Ukrainians will be able to use adaptation services: free language courses, advice on finding a job and enrolling children in a local school.

We thank the people of Canada for their hospitality and support!
